In this edition of Supper Club Sips, we explored a lovely sparkling rose whilst celebrating Christmas during a pandemic in a backyard setting in the cold dead of winter. Odd as it all sounds, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Wine that we sampled:
Domaine Bousquet Sparkling Rose
This beautiful and refreshing dry rose from Domaine Bousquet in the high altitude Uco Valley in Argentina, and is a blend of chardonnay (25%) and pinot noir (75%) made in tanks (Charmat method). And at $13, it is an absolutels steal for such a delicious sparkling wine. We paired it with chicken and waffles, spinach quiche, and fresh fruit to finish. This was perfect for a Sunday/Christmas brunch!
As always, everything was lovely and I appreciate Creative Palate for sending over this fantastic sample, and our friends Cory and Sarah for hosting our Supper Club.
