Usually when I add a costume to my wish-list or line-up, one costume becomes three, because I make, throw together, or purchase a costume for my husband and niece. When I made my Burlesque Loki costume to join a Burlesque (or Kilted) Superheros and Villains group for last DragonCon, I wanted my niece to join the group but at the same time I was running out of time. She loves Aquaman and requested an Aqualass costume. So I purchased pieces for her on Amazon and pulled in a few pieces from other costumes. It worked, but I wish I had more pictures of her cute outfit (will do that this year).

From head to toe, here are the pieces I purchased on Amazon for Brittany’s Burlesque Aqualass:
- Feathered headpiece (Black Feather Headband Crystal Headband (Gold Crystal))
- Feather bolero (Zucker Feather Products Feather Choker, Black)
- Gold fish scale skater dress (Jescakoo Women’s Mermaid Print Sleeveless Tank Dress M)
- Black corset (Camellias 26 Steel Boned Corset Short Torso Heavy Duty Waist Training Cincher Black Large)
- Black burlesque skirt (BRL MALL 5 Tiered Half Burlesque Bustle Party Tutu Skirt)
- Dance tights (Danskin Women’s Shimmery Footed Tight – C – Light Toast)
- Green fishnet tights (Diamondnet Fishnets – 30 different Colors in Fence net style pantyhose!)
- Black ruffle panties (Leg Avenue Micromesh Lace Ruffle Tanga Short, Black, One Size)
- Gold gloves, not pictured (Classic Adult 21″ Long Opera Length Satin Gloves (Gold))
And then I let her borrow my trident from my Ursula costume, and found a 3D printed Aquaman pin on Etsy. I’ll post more pictures of her costume after this DragonCon.
