Oh, hi! It’s been a minute…almost 3 years, actually…since my last post. I’ve been busy, distracted, and grieving. The pandemic changed a lot, and the social media landscape changed completely. I don’t love short format videos At. All. And I just got out of the habit of sharing on the blog and social media. If I’m being completely honest, I thought about shutting down this site, but many of you are still using my costume and cruise posts as a guide, so the blog will live on! I’m finally in a better headspace to share again.
Before I get into my usual posts, a quick recap of the last 3 years…*takes breath*…I’ve sewn a lot of fun costumes, hot glued some stuff, went to a lot of nerd conventions, bought a vacation home in Galveston, did a bunch of fun DIYs, got a puppy (hi, Kara!), traveled a little bit, drank a lot of wine, went on some cruises, and spent the best of times in The Most Magical Place On Earth.
Going forward, what will I blog about? Well, whatever I feel like sharing! Definitely costumes, adventures, and crafts (including some DIYs from the house). In the near future I’ll be sharing A LOT of disneybounding, since that has been the bulk of what’s been running through the sewing machine and occupying my mind. I may go back and pick up where I left off with other costume builds and cruise tips as well. Is there something you’ve been missing?
All that to say…I’m glad you’re still here. Thank you for sticking with me and supporting the blog. Much more to come…
With love, Sheila
Hello,
Good to see you back…
I never made it to Disney world to be Professor McGonagall , but I did do her up for Halloween 🙂 I really appreciated your tips !!!!
Awe, well Minerva is timeless and can be worn any time. Witch core is in right now (as far as I’m concerned). Very welcome and hope you’re doing well!
Welcome back!! I definitely missed seeing all your creative makes 😀 And yay for Amelia having a new friend – hi, Kara!
This kid (Kara) is a wild child for sure, really keeping Amelia on her toes. Let’s talk about Costume College next year…
Glad to see you’re back!!
