A Review of L’Oréal Paris: Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick

I’m not a beauty blogger, but as irony would have it, I was sent three complimentary L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Liquid Lipsticks from Influenster to test and review. A couple weeks later after vigorous testing (and scrutiny from my bestie coworkers), they now live at work where they’ll get the most use. Fighting my preference for naked lips, I found that I rather like these matte colored lip inks, and my coworkers are pleased to finally see some color on my salty grin.  Here’s my brief and honest review…

The beauty of these lipsticks is that they’re readily available in drug stores, in stores like Target, and on Amazon (L’Oréal Paris Makeup Rouge Signature, Lasting Matte Liquid Lipstick). Influenster sent three colors to me, from left to right below: “I Create” which is a lovely nude, “I Rule” also a nude but with a striking pink tone, and “I Am Worth It” in a bold cool red.

They each smell nice (taste terrible…seriously I’m horrible at make-up application), have this neat pointy precision application tip, apply very wet, and they take a few minutes to dry to matte. I really appreciate that they stay on through lunch with minimal reapplication afterwards. Sorry, Chapstick, but mama’s got a new work keyboard lippy, or three lippies actually! As much as I LOVE “I Create” because I’ll always default to nude lips, my favorite is “I Rule” for the pop of happy pink that remarkably matches most of my wardrobe. On occasions when I’m feeling rather rebellious, “I Am Worth It” is a fun light red (and man, does it stain the lips until the next day!), though it needs several applications to deepen the color. So there you have it, I’m rather pleased with these liquid lipsticks!

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
