A few years ago I threw together a Vesper Lynd costume from one of my favorite Bond films, Casino Royale. I actually didn’t wear it until last year, and since then have had a few requests for where I found the jewelry. Oh, to be a Bond Girl! So today I’m sharing the short and sweet sources of the Algerian Love Knot necklace and matching earrings from the film.

Last year I wore this costume in Las Vegas while we were in town for the Rock n Roll Marathon Series, because why not? We didn’t bring the good camera and the lighting was difficult with my iPhone, so the photos we took aren’t particularly great, but I ended up with a couple decent ones good enough to share for anyone planning to costume Vesper Lynd in the black or purple dress. The bad news: I bought my dress from David’s Bridal so long ago they no longer carry it (nor do I have the item number). The closest thing I can find on David’s Bridal now is their Long Mesh Dress with Lace Cap Sleeves (F19505). I would link the dress, but in a year or so from now it most likely will not be available. I think any long mesh or chiffon black dress with cap sleeves and cutout back would do just fine! Happy hunting!
The good news: The jewelry is very easy to find! I bought my necklace and earrings on Etsy, but the vendor is no longer selling on Etsy. I was able to find the exact pieces I’m wearing on Ebay and Amazon (links below). Add red lipstick, blue eyes, and guarded judgey resting bitch face and you’re good to go!
