Following last month’s post on making my loblolly witch hat and yesterday’s post on making my pine cone dress, today I’m sharing the rest of the photos from a quick after-work shoot in a local park. Loblolly pines are native to the Houston area (my home), thus the silly name for this unique costume that became a true labor of love.
I shared these cropped photos above yesterday and on my Instagram account, but the rest of my favorite photos from the park are below. Be sure to check out how I made my witch hat and pine cone dress as well, I’m so very proud of these projects!
Making My Loblolly Pine Cone Dress
And some fun sepia filtered photos for an ethereally witchy glow…
Since this is an original design and of an inanimate object made peculiarly witchy, I think it’ll be timeless for years to come. Halloween, renaissance festival, teaching herbology at Hogwarts, etc. I hope you love it as much as I do! Oh and special thanks to my husband for taking these photos and not making me look stupid.
