Christmas Crackers are the New Stocking Stuffers

img_5271

Christmas crackers, a popular tradition in the UK, is now a tradition in our home.  I had seen them in stores like Marshall’s and Home Goods, but I never fully understood what they were until I became a Doctor Who fan.  Rather than buying them though, I make my own.  For the past couple years I’ve made them at the last minute before Christmas.  They are ridiculously simple, and most, if not all, materials are in my home (empty wrapping paper tube, wrapping paper scraps, tissue paper, gourmet chocolate, small toys or wine items, and ribbon).  So gather your supplies and goodies, pour a glass of wine, and craft with me!
